How to read this estimate

Funding confidence is the share of simulated paths that fund your budget through your selected plan-through age. It is not the probability of your actual future. Low, medium, and high are descriptive labels, not recommendations.

This simplified model uses one stocks/bonds mix, fixed assumptions and independent annual market returns. Contributions and spending maintain purchasing power. It excludes account-specific taxes, required distributions, withdrawal rules, fund fees, changing allocations and survivor benefits. Social Security and pension amounts are included only when you enter them.

Use a budget that includes taxes and expenses. The full portfolio tool can incorporate account-specific assumptions; results may differ. This is an educational estimate, not a guarantee or savings instruction.
